Children swimming in Malta
Mum’s family used to holiday in Malta every summer when she was small, so this little tribe is all my aunts and uncles together.
That’s grandmother (Mary Walden) in the background, with the whole clan of children: Mark and Matthew Walden across the front, with my father Peter Malham (the little blonde boy pulling a face, they were all great friends) and in the back is mother and my aunt Beatrice.
I love seeing my parents playing together as children like this. I wonder if they had any idea they’d grow up to be married?
